Galleries and Museums in and around Manchester
There are numerous Galleries and Museums in and around Manchester including The Lowry, Urbis exhibition centre and the Whitworth Art Gallery.In Manchester most of the ninety plus galleries and museums are free to enter. You could also visit Manchester United's Museum and go on a special tour. Urbis is located in the city centre and is an exhibition centre of city life, featuring interactive exhibits and dynamically changing exhibitions.

Shopping in Manchester
Shopping at the Manchester Arndale Centre offers a vast selection of shops including all the big names like Top Shop, Marks and Spencers and the biggest Next store in the world.The Arndale Centre is open until 8pm most week days. Other stores in Manchester include Emporio Armani, Vivienne Westwood, Harvey Nichols and DKNY. The Trafford Centre offers 230 stores and 47 restaurants under one roof and is only a short drive to the east of Manchester.The Lowry Outlet Mall is Manchester's Only Outlet Mall with 85 stores on two floors offering upto 50% off shopping throughout the year. There is a large foodcort and if you need to keep some of the family occupied whilst you shop there is a seven screen cinema and fitness centre. There is parking facilities available so if you have rented a car you can park it on site at the outlet mall.
